Discomfort is brief and mild with our minimally invasive varicose vein treatments. All are performed under local anesthesia that keeps you comfortable during the procedure.
You’ll walk out of the office and can resume desk work the same day. Light activities are fine after 24-48 hours, and heavier exercise resumes after your one-week check.
Sometimes—small veins often clear in one visit, but widespread or deeper veins may need a series spaced a few weeks apart. Dr. Ninia will explain his recommended treatment plan during your consultation.
Varicose veins typically worsen over time and can lead to more serious complications like skin ulcers or deep vein thrombosis. Early treatment prevents progression.
Likely. Because we use only local anesthesia, most patients safely drive themselves home after a brief recovery walk.
We typically delay elective vein work until after delivery. Once your OB clears you postpartum, the procedures are considered safe. Each situation is evaluated individually during consultation.
The treated veins close permanently and won’t come back. New faulty veins can develop, so Dr. Ninia recommends annual check-ups to catch and treat them early.
